The double ups have not stopped since we got down to our final two tables. Everybody is still pushing all in preflop and getting calls as well. Our most recent doubler is Gian Carlos Oliveri.

From late position, Dejuante Alexander raised to 37,000. Oliveri re-raised all in for a total of 236,000 and Alexander called.

Oiveri showed and Alexander showed . With no help on the board, Alexander shipped over most of his stack to Oliveri who now has 500,000 and he was left with just around 230,000.

We missed how it happened, but with the elimination of Chancellor Strickland in 19th place we are down to our final two tables. Play has paused while the tournament officials do a complete redraw for the final 18 players.

Veldhuis Doubles

Lex Veldhuis got his final 375,000 in with against the of Shane Rose.

The board ran a very dry and Veldhuis was able to double up to 810,000. Rose, on the other hand, has fallen to 400,000.

Zach Urton was all in preflop for his last 250,000 or so chips with vs. the of James Schaaf.

The board ran out and Urton was gone in 20th. Schaaf is now our first player to break the 1,000,000 mark.

Sybe Smit Eliminated in 21st Place ($14,116)

Sybe Smit - 22nd Place

From under the gun, Sybe Smit raised to 24,000 and the small blind called. James Schaaf in the big blind moved all in which covered both remaining players. Smit quickly made the call, and the small blind, after about a minute or two of thought, folded.

Jason Hallee - 22nd Place

Jason Hallee opened the pot with a raise from early position to 26,000. Diana Allen called from the small blind and Gian Carlos Oliveri thought for a long while. He counted out his stack and also counted out chips for a raise before he finally just called. The flop came out and Allen fired out 100,000. Oliveri folded before Hallee moved all in for 378,000. Allen tanked for a few minutes before finally making the call.

The turn was the which gave Hallee three extra outs with the seven, but also took away the king of spades because Allen picked up a flush draw. The river bricked everything with the and Hallee was sent to the rail.

Once again, Jeffrey Norman held two nines, but this time they were for his tournament life. He was up against the of his opponent, who wasted little time taking the lead in the hand. The flop was and Norman was left drawing to just two outs. The turn and river both bricked and Norman is our 24th-place finisher.
