Si è concluso pochi minuti dopo le 8.00 di questa mattina il Sunday Million di PokerStars.it, torneo "evento" che ha visto ben 5.415 giocatori pagare il buy in previsto di €250 per un prizepool generato da €1.245.450 ed una prima moneta inizialmente prevista da oltre €200.000.

Un deal a 5 giocatori è stato infatti il grande protagonista di questo torneo che ha visto consegnare il premio più alto di €143.051 al siciliano "Texarminator", 3° classificato alla fine ma comunque sicuramente soddisfatto per l'impresa ottenuta e soprattutto per la fantastica cifra incassata.

Vince invece il torneo il milanese "jakuzaboy", curiosamente ultimo in chips al momento dell'accordo che gli aveva garantito "solo" €97.311, ai quali si sono però andati ad aggiungere i €25.000 lasciati da parte per il vincitore al momento del deal, per un totale di €122.311 messi in cascina.

Per i colori di PokerStars.it il migliore è stato il misterioso membro del Team Online "Actaru5", 98° per poco più di €1.200.

Nel frattempo su PokerStars.com è continuato nel week end passato il World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), giunto alla fine della seconda di tre settimane di tornei, mentre hanno trovato la conclusione le MiniFTOPS di Full Tilt Poker dove è stato incoronato il vincitore dell'attesissimo Main Event.

Da segnalare la grande prestazione di Marco "NoraFlum" Johnson (foto copertina), capace di conquistare domenica il suo secondo braccialetto WCOOP nell'evento #42 $320 HORSE per un premio di $29,994, in un final table che comprendeva anche Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee (alla fine 3°). Johnson ha inoltre consacrato la sua spettacolare domenica grazie al final table ottenuto nel Sunday 500, dove ha però chiuso 8° per circa $10,000.

Non ce l'ha fatta invece Dan "djk123" Kelly a conquistare il 5° braccialetto WCOOP in carriera, essendosi arreso in semifinale nell'evento $10,300 High Roller Heads Up solo al futuro vincitore "OtB_RedBaron". Semifinali in questo evento anche per il fenomeno dei nosebleed Ben "Ben86" Tollerene, arresosi solo al giocatore di Hong Kong "ForTheSwaRMm".
