Malinov in the Mix

Marco Gambini got involved for the first time today, opening K♣10♠ from the button to 600,000. Chip leader Atanas Malinov called with 6♥4♣ from the button.

Both players paired up on the A♦10♦4♣ flop, and Malinov check-called for 500,000. Gambini continued his aggression on the 9♥ turn, firing out 650,000 which folded out Malinov.

The following hand, Malinov looked down at A♦10♦ from the small blind and made it 1,050,000. Virgile Turchic defended his big blind with K♣9♥.

The Q♥8♠7♥ flop saw Malinov check, and Turchi bet 700,000. Malinov called. The Q♣ turn paired the board and action checked through to the 2♥ river. Malinov had the best hand and checked. Turchi checked back and Malinov recouped some of his chips that went to Gambini.

The following hand, Remy Murcia jammed for 3,280,000 with K♠Q♠ from the button and received no action from either of the blinds.

On the next deal, Guillaume Nolet looked down at A♣10♠ from the button and made it 600,000. Unlike Turchi and Murcia, Nolet received some action as Gabi Livshitz called from the big blind with K♠Q♥.

Neither player connected with the 6♦3♦3♠ flop, keeping Nolet's ace-high as the best hand. He continued for 400,000 and Livshitz called.

The 6♥ turn double-paired the board, and the action checked through to the 8♦ river. Livshitz thought about taking a stab at the pot, but both players checked once more, and Nolet took the pot.
