Ka-Powell

Bryan Powell has just doubled up through Steven Van Zadelhoff. The big blind fired out 500 on the {Q-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} turn, Steve Van Zadelhoff made the call and small blind Powell check-raised all in for about 2,400. The big blind passed and Van Zadelhoff made the call with {A-Spades}{8-Spades} against Powell's {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

"I still have outs..." said the Dutchman, but the river was the {2-Diamonds} and Powell doubled up to about 6,000.

The Numbers Are In

Livello 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Registration has closed up shop for the day, and the numbers are in. A hefty 4,576 players turned up over the last two days, generating a prize pool in excess of $4 million -- $4,118,400 to be exact. That money will be spread out over the last 468 players left standing, and the bottom payout is worth $1,812, a bit less than twice the buy-in.

The final three tables will pay out a minimum of $20,303, and everyone who makes the final table will earn at least $53,333. The six-figure payouts start at 6th place, and the last three will all earn more than a quarter-million dollars. The winner? How about $648,880 and a shiny gold bracelet?

The full breakdown of the prize pool will be in the Payouts tab up there in just a moment.

Moorman, Moorman, Number One

Livello 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in middle posiiton opened to 450, and Chris Moorman three-bet shoved for about 2,500 with {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. The opponent made the call, and his {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} had Moorman's tournament life in grave danger.

But the dealer had other ideas. The board ran out {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {6-Spades}, and Moorman spikes his set to double up. Mark him down for about 5,200 now.
