... the final 31 players returned to the felt at the PokerStars.com EPT Prague.
It's Day 4 here in this charmingly frigid city, and we're down to our final four tables. Three of those tables will have to go before we break for the night, and the final table of eight will return tomorrow to play down to a champion.
Right now, it's Patrick Renkers who's doing the most damage. Thanks to a pair of huge pots last night, his 2.4 million chips make his stack about twice as big as his nearest rival. There are a few sharks circling in the waters beneath him, though.
Team PokerStars Pros Jude Ainsworth and Juan Manuel Pastor are both looking to add their names to the history books, and both will begin play with more-than-average chips. Mike "Timex" McDonald is already in the EPT history books with a win at EPT4 Dortmund. He followed that up with another final table there one year later, and again at EPT6 Deauville. In his six EPT cashes, he's never finished worse than 18th. As a side note, McDonald's first career live cash came here at EPT Prague 4 years ago.
Apart from those gents, we've also got the likes of Mads Wissing, Ari Engel, Nicolas Levi, and Chris Moorman still in the hunt. And with 31 players left, we still have one woman standing, the Czech Republic's own Michaela Smrckova.
The cards are set to go flying in just about fifteen minutes, and we've got ourselves a ringside seat. Don't wander off on us. This figures to be a fine day of poker in Prague.

The cards are in the air for Day 4 of the 2011 PokerStars.com EPT Prague
Denys Drobyna opened the action with a raise to 32,000 from the hijack seat. In the cutoff, Rasmus Vogt three-bet to 69,000. Things folded a couple seats over to Guillem Cavaller in the small blind. He tanked for a bit and then four-bet to 150,000. After the big blind folded, Drobyna gave it up and passed the action to Vogt. He also folded and Cavaller won the pot.
We arrived at the table with about 175,000 chips in the middle on the board. Ari Engel was up against Yann Brosolo and checked. Brosolo decided on a bet of 100,000 and slid out a tall stack of blue T5,000 chips. Engel called.
Brosolo tabled the for a king-high flush. Engel couldn't beat it and mucked his hand.

First in from middle position, Kimon Lehman raised to 54,000, and Ramil Boyazitov flatted in the small blind. From the big, Juan Manuel Pastor shoved all in for about 740,000. Lehman called all in for 380,000, Boyazitov mucked, and the cards were on their backs.

Pastor:
The flop was a fine sight for Pastor, reducing Lehmann to four outs for his tournament life.
Turn:
Gulp. Pastor was less than thrilled with the gutshot coming in, and he was already drawing dead to a chop before the river. When he paid out his debt, he was left with just about 350,000.
Those chips were going into the very next pot, too...

Jason Gray raised to 38,000 to open the pot, and Ramil Boyazitov called from the button. In the small blind, Juan Manuel Pastor squeezed all in for 352,000 -- the second hand in a row he's sqeeze-shoved. Gray made the call for his last 294,000. Boyazitov ducked out again, and now it was Gray at risk as the cards were turned up.

Once again, the board ran afoul for the Team PokerStars Pro. It came , and he's been forced to pay off another double. He's been dealt pocket jacks and pocket tens on two consecutive hands, and the pocket pairs have run him all the way down under 60,000.
