Penultimate €1,100 FPS Main Event Flight Kicks Off at 11 a.m. CET

It's another day of the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris inside the fantastic Le Palais de Congres, and the action is set to continue at 11 a.m. CET with Day 1e of the biggest-ever €1,100 FPS Main Event.

A staggering 2,262 entries have already been tallied across the first four starting flights, eclipsing Monte Carlo's record of 2,138. That figure will exponentially grow over the next day, with Day 1e and Day 1f still to play out. The prize pool currently sits at €2,258,880 and has every chance of crossing the €3 million mark.

As it stands, 339 players have booked their spot for Day 2 and French player Alexandre Correia leads the pack, finishing Day 1c with a stack of 895,000. Fabian Niederreiter (776,000) and Alexandru Lupascu (736,000) round out the top three chip counts. Daisuke Ogita, who won the event in Monte Carlo last year, is also primed for another deep after bagging 675,000 in chips.

All participants receive 30,000 in starting chips and the aim for each Day 1 is reaching the top 15 percent of the field to secure a cash prize, as that's when the action will conclude. A maximum of seven entries are allowed across all flights with the first appearance counting as the initial entry. Each starting day then subsequently permits one reentry and the registration for each of them closes at the start of Level 11.

The 2024 FPS Paris Main Event final table will be live-streamed with cards-up coverage and commentary on a 30-minute delay. It is just one of several tournaments to be streamed on the PokerStars channels and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor to cover all major events on the schedule.
