Pot! Re-pot!

Daniel Alaei
Daniel Alaei

Welcome back to the Rio! In about 20 minutes, we will be getting started with one of the most exciting events of the WSOP, Event #42: $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship!

Last year's event was taken down by superstar pro Daniel Alaei, who outlasted a field of 346 of the world's toughest players. Last year's final table included Alexander Kravchenko and Ludovic Lacay, and we are expecting another great final table in this event!

At the moment, Daniel Alaei is still in the $5,000 six-handed event, but its safe to say that Alaei won't have a problem playing two tournaments today. We will also keep an eye out for Jason Mercier, who is fresh off a win in the $5,000 pot-limit omaha six handed tournament. Stay tuned to Pokernews for all of the action as we will be bringing you eight hours of pot-limit omaha action!
